Now that I have just started on my third trimester, the questions about when and where the baby shower will take place have started to pop up from friends. Up to now I have never really thought about really wanting one or what kind of theme I would like, but after scrolling through On to Baby’s baby shower page, my interest is piqued! We still have not been able to find out the sex of the baby, so I have been drawn to the gender neutral themes and boy are they cute!
Did you have a theme for your baby shower?
1) Love this sock monkey theme with it’s punches of bright red, touch of vintage charm and bunting for room decorations.
2) Yellow seems to often be the default colour for gender neutral parties and baby gift items, but no reason for it to be mundane. This bubble bee themed shower is vibrant and fun.
3) It seems that showers are no longer limited to a guest list of gf’s and mothers, but many couples are opting for a mix party where even the men are invited. This Bun in the Oven with it’s pulled pork sandwiches, backyard location, and grey and red theme would make everyone feel comfortable to celebrate.
I wish I had come up with a fun theme like the sock monkey one! Yellow is a great color too. I would love to see more ideas…for next time!
I love the yellow theme! So bright and cheerful!
We had a western theme for our baby, it was my four year old son’s idea. he was convinced that since we named the baby Wyatt that he must be Wyatt Earp
I love all the yellow. So refreshing.
Everything looks so cute! I love the sign above the food table and the cute monkeys!
love the sock money absolutely adorable and red is one of my favorite colors too
