Our customers have been requesting for a new, modern design and Stork Craft has been listening! We are so excited to welcome the Giovanna 3 in 1 Crib to our 2013 lineup (available Spring 2013 in your choice of white, cherry or espresso). It’s a convertible a crib that can turn into a day bed, and then with the purchase of a generic set of double-ended, full-size mattress rails, convert into a full-bed.

With the ban on sales of drop-side cribs in North America, we have received thousands of calls from caregivers with concerns that people who are shorter or have to recover from birth will have trouble reaching into cribs with very high front rails. To address this concern Stork Craft has designed the Giovanna crib with shorter legs and have it sit a bit lower so that caregivers can have easy access over the front rail to reach baby. In terms of the distance from the mattress base to the top of the rails though, it is still tested to meet or exceed North American safety standards, and has the adjustable 3 position mattress base feature for lowering when baby learns to sit or stand up. It’s function and safety for both parent and baby!
“Something more contemporary!” is another request that we have been hearing more than ever. While popular crib designs to tend to stay traditional, it was time that we came out of our comfort zone a little bit and design something that could infuse a bit of modern style into a room. With its swoop rails and tapered legs, we love how the Giovanna has that right touch of subtle detail and keeps things timeless as a canvas for customers to decorate with.
Last week we did a romantic pink and grey theme style board for the Princess 4 in 1 Crib, so to switch things up, this time we came up with a bold navy and yellow theme for the Giovanna 3 in 1. What do you think?

This is a beautiful crib. I would love it in my new baby’s room.
Love this new style. Crib is beautiful.
its really nice an it has my new grandsons name,Giovanna
Beautiful design…. but the only thing I dislike is that the corners are sharp. From what I’ve learned with my own children, you need all furniture with rounded edges!
This is a beautiful crib! If we were having more babies I would def want one!
That’s a lovely name and I really like the unique sides.
Navy blue and yellow is a great color scheme!
And I adore the Elephant Lamp!
I really appreciate the design for shorter people as I am 5 feet myself!
