Well it should since she is my mother, and a wonderful one at that. I was so proud to see that she had made the Mom of the week, because to my brother and I, she is mother of a lifetime. But something that I do not agree on with the entry, was when she gave the advice that moms-to-be should not expect to be a super hero. My advice, they should strive to be! My mother is not only a Super Hero but an amazing role model for anyone who is given the chance to spend time with her! She has helped me through so many battles a teenager and young adult would face. She is right though, you can not be friends with your kids. But when they have turned into adults and are off starting their own lives, then you are free to be best friends! I had always loved shopping with my mother, going to dinner, and rocking out to Bon Jovi in concert! She has been the more than I could even ask for. I strive to make her proud every single day, and I pray that I am just like her when I start a family! She is my best friend!!
