Stork Craft is pleased to launch it’s lineup of brand new baby cribs. All of our new cribs are compliant with the new standard, 16 CFR 1219 and meet or exceed safety standards. They are also JPMA certified.
The choices are endless! Feel free to browse our website to choose the style and color that you like. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here and I will answer. Most of the new cribs and colors are already being sold, or will be up on our retailers websites by the end of June.
I want to buy your Tuscany Crib, but I want to make sure that it is 16CFR 1219 compliant. If I buy it at another retailer, am I guaranteed to get a crib that is compliant with these new standards? Are all of the Tuscany cribs on the market 16CFR 1219 compliant?
Yes, if you purchase a Tuscany crib from any retailer on or after June 28th it will be compliant to the new crib standards.
I love your cribs.
Online it says you have new cribs launched but. Can’t fin them? Where can I locate them? I was very dissapoinyes that the ‘Ariel’ crib was discontinued! I has ordered online with sears with the rest of the baby’s room furniture and it was cancelled because they had none in stock!
Hi Natasha,
Where do you live? Canada or the US? The Ariel is a discontinued crib and is no longer being produced. However, we have a full new crib-lineup that I’m sure you would love.

Hi there, I love your Aspen crib but wish it came in espresso or antique black. Is this possible? Thanks!
Hi Jennifer,
Do you live in Canada or the US?
Hi Adam,
I also want to purchase a Tuscany and I read where you stated that any purchased after June 28th would be compliant to the new safety standards. I was just curious about that because on your website, oak is not a choice of colors in the Tuscany, but another retailer does offer it. Is this an older color choice and if so, are those other colors offered still up to code on the crib safety standards as well ? Thank you so much.
Hi Dawn,
Are you in Canada or the US? If you are in the US, anything being sold on or after June 28th meets the new safety standards.
Thanks,
Adam
I was wondering if a crib was purchased before June 28, 2011 is it compliant with 16CFR 1219? We bought the Aspen in January, 2010 and since it is convertible we planned to have my son in it for a long time (we live in the U.S.).
Hi Susan,
Some cribs purchased before June 28th, 2011 are compliant, but your Aspen purchased in January is not complaint with 16CFR 1219. Any crib purchased on or after June 28th, 2011 in the US is guaranteed to be compliant with the new crib safety standards.
Thanks.
I want to buy the venetian in black. does it meet the new 16cfr 1219? I can’t decide between the venetian or the emily?? help
Yes, the Venetian meets the new crib standards.
Love the tuscany crib but not sure where to buy the full size bed rails? Cannot find them in sears cataloge!
Hi Kim,
Any full size metal bed rails will work. Make sure they have a double ended attachment. They can be purchased at Sears or any other retailer that sells beds.

Is the Status Richmond Stages Crib 16 CFR 1219 compliant?
Also, what size mattress do I need to buy for the Crib? It says “standard” size on the babiesrus website but I’ve seen mattresses ranging 1/8″ to an 1″ different in size all calling themselves standard…
Hi Elle,
It depends when your Status Richmond Crib was manufactured. Do you have a date of manufacture?
The mattress size should be at least 27 1/4“x 51 5/8”, and should not be more than 6 inches thick. The mattress should be of such length and width that the gap between the mattress and the sides of the crib is not more than 1-3/16 inches when the mattress is pushed into the corner of the crib.
We just ordered it so we won’t have it for a few days. What size can the mattress go up to?

Where can I find the aspen crib? I like the aspen collection but I can’t find the crib.
The new aspen is actually called the Vittoria crib. You can find it on our website and at any retailer that carries our products.
Ok thanks! And is there a whole Vittoria collection? Or does the aspen furniture match with the vittoria crib? I actually added that crib to my cart on target just in case i couldn’t get the aspen crib.
Aspen furniture will match the Vittoria crib perfectly! It is the replacement for the Aspen crib in the US. I hope this helps.
We recently purchased a Stork Craft crib from Walmart. Because we are foster parents, we need a certificate proving that this crib (Sheffield Stages, model #04510-241, manufactured in May 2011) meets the new federal safety standards 16 CFR 1219. Our license needs to be resubmitted ASAP, because we are taking another foster child who will be born soon. Can you please email the certificate back to me? If you need any additional information from me, please let me know.
Thank you,
Karly Leib
