WOO HOO! That makes me happy! I can't decide if I should go ahead and transition him into bunk beds or wait until we've sold this house and moved into the next house. I'd hate for the bunk beds to get any damage when we move!
If it's any consolation, they're fairly easy to take apart. Which one would you look at buying, the Caribou or Long Horn? I got to see them in person when we did the photoshoot here. They're both really high quality, sturdy beds and the Espresso finish is very rich.
We ordered the Long Horn model and love the look of the pieces and it seems like it will be sturdy. The frustrating part is they sent an incorrect piece for the top bunk, so I'll be contacting customer service in the morning. Hopefully they can just send us the correct piece and we won't have to return the entire bed to Walmart!
