Any stores carrying this furniture in Edmonton Alberta in 2010??? If so, could you tell me who?Great looking beds!!!
I suggest trying www.tjskids.com as they have a good selection of Canwood and they ship within Canada. The products should be uploaded to their site very soon.

Can anyone HELP me find pics of the Whistler bed with the storage options (3 drawer chest, 2 door cabinet, slide out desk) underneath? I know it’s made to be a system but I can’t find anywhere that tells me what you can fit under it and in what configurations. Can I fit all 3 pieces under?

All three are designed to fit underneath the Whistler Junior Loft Bed. The picture above is of a Whistler Junior Loft bed in Espresso with the slide-out desk fitting perfectly underneath.
This loft bed looks fabulous! I love that it has different storage possibilities for underneath it.
This bed is looks so beautiful…
Where is the Canwood furniture made? I saw a website selling off all the Penticton plant manufacturing equipment (http://www.tradewestsales.com/sales/canwood/default.asp).
Canwood furniture is made in China.
I am having difficulty getting some information from distributors regarding the Canwood Mates Solid Pine Wood Double Bed in Espresso (with headboard). I know the dimensions of the bed, including the headboard are 43.9″H x 56.19″W x 83.86″D; however, I would like to know the following information. 1) How much weight will this bed hold; 2) does the mattress rest on slats or a piece of solid wood; and, 3) how many inches is it from the floor to the top of the surface where the mattress rests (before the mattress is placed on the surface). I very much want to purchase this bed, so I would be grateful if you could help me.
Thank you!!!!!
1) Up to 250 lbs
2) Rests on wooden slats. Box spring is optional
3) 13-1/4″ is the height from the floor to the to the mattress support slats.
Hope this helps!
I would like to know what the difference between the Alpine II Loft Bed and the Base Camp Loft bed. The Camp Base is a little bigger yet cheaper in price. Are there any other differences?
The slight differences are in design (the style of the headboard and footboard are different) and the wood used for the Alpine is slightly thicker.
is there a retailer in bc that carry the canwood furniture and will walmart store carry it or is everything is buy online
TJ’s in Vancouver (marine drive) carries Canwood. Otherwise, everything is available on walmart.ca
I’m trying very much to purchase the canwood mates twin bed in natural but can’t seem to find it in stock any where. I live in Pennsylvania near the Allentown area. Any ideas where I could purchase this and if the sites that are out of stock are going to get stock soon?
Hi Wendy,
This product should be available within 3-5 business days so please look on the retailers sites as they should be available soon.
Can the underbed storage drawers go with with the Alpine II twin over twin bunk bed or the Base Camp twin over twin bunk bed? Thanks.
Yes, the drawers for bunk beds will fit under any Alpine or Base Camp twin or double bed.
as a follow up, do the underbed drawers for the bunk bed sit on the floor or can they be attached to the sides of the bunk bed like in the canwood mates double bed?
They sit on the floor and have wheels on the bottom.
