Ragazzi is not a part of the drop-side recall. As long as there are no missing or broken parts, this crib is safe to use. Carefully inspect it.

I have a Jenny Lind crib that I have used for 3 children. We have loved the ease of use with this crib. My son is almost two and we are not quite ready to convert his crib to a toddler bed yet. However, the plastic release latch broke on our crib last night. I know it is a long shot considering the age of the bed, but do you still have replacement parts for Model 0287009, manufactured Feb 8, 1996? Or is there a complete hardware set that we could order that would work for this crib? Thank you for any info you may have.

Hi Wayne,I'm glad you find this blog helpful. If your crib has a broken piece, stop using it immediately. Inspect the crib and make sure that there are:* No missing parts* No loose parts* No joints are coming apartIf in doubt, do not use the crib. Your child's safety should be your utmost priority. We do not have replacement parts for the older Ragazzi cribs. Hi, this blog has been very helpful.I have the Ragazzi crib 2501-89 like others who have posted in this blog. The plastic piece that is used in the drop side recently broke. How can I get a replacement piece?

No, this recall is for Stork Craft drop-side cribs with plastic hardware made between January 1993 and October 2009. Stork Craft drop-side cribs with the Fisher-Price logo with plastic hardware made between October 1997 and December 2004.Ragazzi is not included in this recall.

Hi Amy,No, this crib is not part of the recent voluntary Stork Craft recalls. This is a Ragazzi crib from the old Ragazzi company, we have since bought it in 2006. Please make sure to check that the crib has no missing or loose parts and that it is assembled correctly.Thanks,Adam
