The year was 1945 when Morris Feldstein started making baby furniture with his own hands. A couple years later, Feldstein’s growing business had moved from his basement to his own shop on 4th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia. Morris Feldstein was a determined innovator and a passionate entrepreneur. Stork Craft’s manufacturing philosophy was driven by his passion and his purpose. His legacy continues under new leadership.

1945 Stork Craft opens its very first shop on 4th Avenue in Vancouver, B.C.
1950 Stork Craft opens its factory on Commercial Drive, Vancouver, B.C.
1953 Stork Craft develops the very first drop side crib in manufacturing history
1954 Stork Craft is the very first in Canada with plastic rails
1960 Stork Craft displays its new crib designs at the Pacific National Exhibition
1961 The Chicago Chiropractic Association endorses Stork Craft’s revolutionary new wooden posture board
1970 Stork Craft expands its factory on Commercial Drive, Vancouver, B.C.
1979 Stork Craft opens its Richmond, B.C. factory
1991 Joseph Segal purchases Stork Craft from Morris Feldstein
2002 Stork Craft commences international expansion
